Movie Monday: Featuring The Princess and the Frog

This is the best disney princess movie I have ever seen! It is awesome! I want to tell everything that is in it. But I can't because I don't want to spoil it for everyone else. It just came out on the 11th. But I saw it on the 5th of December. How, you ask? It all started on the 4th when I was at activity days. My friend Jeralyn asked me if I wanted to come to Gateway theater and see, "The Princess and the Frog". For some reason I didn't understand for a minute. I wasn't sure if I could. So I asked my mom when I got home and she said yes. I told Jeralyn and I was shocked when she said she was going to pick me up at 8:10 in the morning. We arrived at about 8:45. We had to wait until 9:45 though. I didn't know we would have to wait for an hour. We finally went in the theater and we sat on the fifth row down from the top. The thought all of a sudden came to my head, "Why am I seeing this before it even came out?". "We're at a pre-show." said Jeralyn after I asked her. All of a sudden, I saw the guy that hosts on Radio Disney. He started to throw shirts and Jeralyn, Keeley, and I all caught one. After he ran out of shirts he said for everyone to come down and dance. We went down and we listened for what dance he wanted us to do. I don't exactly remember what dance, but it was fun! He finally said that we were going to play freeze dance. He wanted to see crazy poses, or crazy dancing. I tried to do a crazy pose but it never ended up crazy. So I started to dance crazy. A guy came up to me and he handed me some frog-feet slippers! It was so cool! It starts out when Tiana, the main girl, is a kid and she is listening to the story The Princess and the Frog being read by her mother. She is at her friend's house, who is apperantly rich and has a huge house, and they are in princess dresses. Her friend in a pink puffy dress, and Tiana in a simple small little blue dress with sparkles and a crown. Tiana has a gift with cooking. And her father wants to start a resteraunt in the future. I cannot say anymore. Not at all. You need to see it yourself, obviously. It wouldn't be the same if I just told you right now. If I tell you too much, then you will be looking for the parts that I told you about instead of really watching the movie. Anyway, you NEED to see it no matter what. You will have no excuse if you miss it the day you were supposed to see it.

I am not sure if I will get to see this movie unless someone invites me to go. But you certainly did a good job of writing about it. And what fun to see it before the general public, and THEN to get a t-shirt!!!! AND slippers!!!! that was a fun activity. Sounds like Jeralyn is a good friend to have :o)

Thanks for recommending the movie. And thanks for not telling everything about it because that would have been a spoiler since I have not seen it yet. Have you thought of becoming the movie reviewer/critic for your school paper. I think you would be awesome at it.
